Security
Our wrought iron front porch gate is operated like a submarine's air-lock-hatch.
When you come to visit, we will ask you to enter the porch
before we open the front door.
(The wrought iron gate is
sprung loaded to close behind you.)
We also have fences
and gates in the front garden but we do not rely on these at all.
The lowest fence to the completely enclosed rear garden is 5 feet tall. Some dogs
can jump over 5 feet. Tell us if you know yours can and will jump. Common sense will be
applied, and if necessary, a lead as well.
All downstairs doors and the stairs are fitted with dog gates. The door gates are
normally left open and dogs are free to move around as they please. However, when
needed, good control of movement can be quickly achieved.
(e.g. when a stranger rings the door-bell.)
Trips out to exciting
walks
will be secure too. We have professional dog cages built
into the car. They can also be used to lock-up naughty nephews!
