Walkies

Our main dog-walking resource is the Amida club golf course (formerly Twickenham public course) which is a completely enclosed space of about 85 acres just 60 seconds walk from our front gate; daytime walks on the course are generally with dogs on leads, but dawn and twilight walks can be even more fun for dogs permitted off-lead walking...

Many other excellent walking places are only a few minutes away and we regularly use :- Bushy Park, Crane River Walk, Marble Hill Park, Old Deer Park, Richmond Park, and the Thames Path.

We do ocassionally use spaces further away such as The Devil's Punchbowl, Runnymede, Virginia Water, and Windsor Great Park.

We aim to do at least one special walk (see above), and one block walk per day. Add these to lots of garden playtime, and you get fit dogs that are tired and contented by the end of the day.
